We do not offer general hazardous-material disposal. If a hauler tells you they'll take your paint, solvents and pool chemicals without qualification, ask them where it goes. In Broward County the honest answer is a household hazardous waste drop-off, and that's a trip you make yourself in about fifteen minutes.
A few items carry a charge the disposal facility bills us directly. We itemize them in your estimate rather than burying them in the base price or springing them on you in the driveway.

Florida routes those through household hazardous waste collection rather than standard disposal, and no licensed hauler can carry them in a regular load. Dried, hardened latex paint is usually fine. Liquid paint, oil-based paint, solvents, fuel and pesticides are not.
We can't touch it. It requires a licensed abatement contractor and a specific disposal chain. If your home predates the early 1980s and you've torn out popcorn ceiling, old floor tile or pipe insulation, have it tested before anyone moves it.
Yes, and it isn't a markup. Federal law requires certified refrigerant recovery before disposal and the facility charges for it. We pass that through at cost and tell you the number in your estimate.
We stop, set it aside, tell you what it is and where it goes, and carry on with the rest of the load. It doesn't cancel the job and it doesn't change your price.
Small amounts from a household project, yes. Large quantities — and anything heavy like concrete, tile, brick or roofing — are priced by weight rather than volume and quoted separately, because a truck hits its legal axle limit long before it looks full.
